Adding a traffic counter
-
I have registered with a blog list (blogglisten.no). In order for them to get me on their “hit list”, I have to add a counter, so they can record my stats. I’m supposed to find that in “Widgets” in the “my site”, but I can’t find out which widget.
According to them, the form might look like this:
http://faq.blogg.no/?side=side2#trafikkteller
But I can’t out which widget to use. Can anyone help?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Aloha perpelle, It looks like they are asking you to add JavaScript code, which is not permitted on WordPress.com sites. You can use text widget to display approved code.
Users are not allowed to post JavaScript on WordPress.com blogs. JavaScript can be used for malicious purposes. As an example, JavaScript has taken sites such as MySpace.com and LiveJournal offline in the past. The security of all WordPress.com blogs is a top priority for us, and until we can guarantee scripting languages will not be harmful, they will not be permitted.
JavaScript from trusted partners, such as YouTube and Google Video, is converted into a WordPress shortcode when a post is saved.

If this is something you really want to be a part of, you would need to look into switching to a self-hosted WordPress site.
