Adding a video to my blog

  Is it possible to add a short video (taken with my iPhone) to my blog (using Misty Lake theme) or do I have to upgrade to the Premium Plan? This is a very simple amateur blog attempt created to keep a small group of family up to date on travels, so I won’t go to any expense if I can help it. Thanks

  The best method for your situation would be using an external video provider like YouTube. You can learn more about how videos work with WordPress.com at https://en.support.wordpress.com/videos/

  Thanks for the reply but doing a bit more research I realized that I can’t post a video without doing an upgrade to my plan…. so I went the Vimeo route and have had success….thanks.
