adding a video to my post

Suddenly something has changed and I’m unable to add a video as easily as I was able to just a while ago! What has changed and I tried whatever I could but could not. Nothing worked.
Tried to go to help to wordpress and that was impossible too! Unable to send an email to help to ask for help!
Boring and a waste of time. O don’t have time for this!
Makes me feel stupid.
are there any real people out there to help?
and why has it all suddenly changed used to be clear and easy!

Don’t email for help. Ask in these forums. As you can see, you get help within 15 minutes.
Are you trying to add a video to an existing post or create a new post? How are you attempting to include the video? Like, what code are you using? Are you using the Video post format or Standard format? Are you using the new editor or the Classic Editor?

I am not a pro with this stuff so your questions leave me with more question marks?
I have to go and check about the new editor and the classic editor first to see whether that gets me back to what I was used to.
I was doing what I usually do write a new post and then add an attachment of a video or an image. This time it was a video and I usually could just type in the code and it worked.
Only this time when I hit add media everything looked different so maybe it has to do with new or classic editor.
I’ll try that now.
I’m an oldie like mature wine like ancient wisdom! And I’m trying guard to keep up with all the changes with this tech stuff that seem to happen every minute! Just when I’ve figured out how to work with something they go and change it on me!!!!!
If I didn’t have a sense of humor and a curiosity to learn I would break down and cry!

Yes, that sounds like the New Editor. You can switch back to the Classic Editor by clicking the link that’s on the upper right hand corner and says Classic Editor.
