Adding a wallpaper background to my blog
-
Is it possible for me to add a wallpaper to my blog? I don’t know CSS so it isn’t worth me upgrading to that at this stage, but can I do it without, and if so – how? Thanks for your help.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I don’t know if this is doable with the free wordpress.com blog without the use of CSS but if there is a way, (im about 95% sure there isn’t though) i’d like to know aswell!

It is do-able something along the lines of this thread:
https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/how-to-change-background-of-springloaded-via-widgets?replies=16#post-341744That is about changing a background color, but background image works too. It isn’t perfect, but I was tired of the grey background of Digg3. There is now an image on my blog. But I can’t get rid of the little black corners.

Hi, thanks 1tess for suggesting this. I went to the topic and followed the directions. Got it to change everything on the page (including the central panel) black. So I know it works! But I don’t want everything black and don’t know how to find other colours to put in there, or where to put them in that html code, but I then tried subsituting the (url of background) for an image of my own and this didn’t work at all. So where I am, I think, is that I know what I’d like to do is possible but still can’t do it.

This is the code I used with a background image.
<div style="position:fixed;top:0;left:0;background:#fff url('http://IMAGE_NAME.jpg');width:100%;height:100%;z-index:-1000;"></div>Here is a site with colors:
