Hey Jeffrey,
If you would like the website to be entirely separate from the blog, you’ll need to register a new site. Here are the instructions:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/create-a-blog/#adding-new-blog-to-an-existing-accountIf you want the blog to be incorporated into the site, you can keep everything as-is, and simply create new pages on the blog. If you’d like to add some new static pages, here are the steps:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/Let me know if this helps. I can assist further if you need. Just let me know how you’re hoping to proceed. Thanks much!

Hello Robyn,
Thanks for your advice.
I paid for the Premium mistakenly on my blog 2 days ago do you know if I can transfer that now to register a completely new site?
I paid for the Premium so that I could have our own domain name and want our website link to go directly to our website and not my blog.Regards Jeffrey.

Hey there Jeffrey,

First, you should register the new site. Then, tell me the name of the site to which I should move the upgrade, and I’ll make it happen.
Looking forward to hearing from you. Thanks very much.

Terrific, I’ll also have to unmap the DNS so I can map it to the new site
Regards Jeffrey

Jeffrey,
As long as your domain is mapped to WordPress.com with the following name servers, you don’t have to disconnect anything with your domain registrar:
ns1.wordpress.com
ns2.wordpress.com
ns3.wordpress.comMany thanks!

Hello Robyn,
you’ve been a great help.
I’ve registered

Hello Robyn,
please let me know when the changes have taken place as I need to start work on our site.
I have mapped ns1.wordpress.com, ns2.wordpress.com, ns3.wordpress.com with our domain registar so I take it http://www.bealliamevents.com.au will then take people to bealliamevents.wordpress.com/ but they wont see wordpress only bealliamevents.com.au?Regards Jeffrey

Hello again, Jeffrey!
I’ve moved the Premium upgrade to your site, bealliamevents.wordpress.com/.
You now want to set up domain mapping. Sounds like you’ve mapped everything properly with your domain registrar. Now, you want to add domain mapping here.
To do so, click the link below and the select Map a Domain You Already Own, and follow the instructions there:
https://welcometojeffreyworld.wordpress.com/wp-admin/paid-upgrades.php?page=domainsI hope this helps! If you have any other concerns, drop me a note. Thanks much!

Hello Robyn,
I’ve followed the link and mapped bealliamevents.com.au to bealliamevents.com.au in welcometojeffreyworld.wordpress.com and made that as the primary.
I wanted bealliamevents.com.au to go to bealliamevents.wordpress.com and have nothing to do with my old blog.
I did this yesterday and read it might take 72 hours, have I got it right as http://www.bealliamevents.com.au still goes to my old blog?
When I go to beallianevents.wordpress.com I can see the webpage I set up and that what I need to start working on asap.
Thanks for your help so far I look fwd to your answer.Regards Jeffrey

Hey there, Jeffrey!
Your domain, bealliamevents.com.au, is definitely mapped properly to welcometojeffreyworld.wordpress.com. Nicely done. It is now a matter of time while these adjustments take effect online.
You may need to clear your browser’s cache in order to view your domain/website properly. To do so, please follow these instructions:
In the meantime, you can access your site and edit it at:

Hi again!
Glad that worked out :)
Is it possible that the top line below I copied doesn’t show when bealliamevents.com.au is googled?
Absolutely. However, you should know that google can take 4-6 weeks to index new sites. There are a few things you can do to speed the process along.
First, add a more complete Title/Tagline here:
https://bealliamevents.wordpress.com/wp-admin/options-general.phpMake sure to save your changes.
Also, take a look at the following:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/search-engines/Pay close attention to the section about Google Webmaster Tools, and follow the link to set that up.
That should help. Let me know if need a hand. Many thanks!
