Adding a widget

  Trying to add extra widgets on my theme (Pilcrow) but under Appearance > Widgets I cannot move the widget from the widget list to the right hand. Is there a trick i am missing? Do all themes allow widgets to be added

  No. Hundreds of people are reporting an issue right now. I suggest that you wait it out while staff try to fix it.
