adding a widget to the side bar
-
I would like to add weather and time widgets for the places I will travel to my side bar.
I have tried using “link”and “text”.
All I get in my side bar is a link to the page.
Can I actually get the widget as displayed in: http://www.weatherforecastmap.com/getwidget.phtml
and one other one where it would not even display the city I chose.
I have found some sites and understand not using unacceptable script…i think. Can someone direct me to the instructions for this – I have read the instructions for text and link widget – but have been unable to see a weather widget on my blog – only a likn to a weather page.
hope someone can helpThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

and this about world time: -
thanks.. again.. 1tess – i read the information.
does it mean that I could inbed active widgets if i understood what those articles said and followed the code writing instructions?
or
under no circumstances can you have active widgets? -
It means that if you go to the posts that Tess linked to and use those codes your can have those widgets on your blog. If you attempt to use any other method of posting them the software will strip the codes out.

Keep in mind that the gigya code works only for flash widgets. This post might make the conversion more understandable:

I think that if you have more questions, then Panos would be able to help on his blog.
