  How do I add an amazon widget or banner?

  Hi there. You don’t. Adding Amazon widgets, banners or even image links are against the Terms of Service and can get your blog suspended.

  You’re allowed to add affiliate links to Amazon, but they may only be text-links, not images or banners. https://en.support.wordpress.com/affiliate-links/

  Sure you do. Just make sure that you use the link generated by your Amazon Affiliates toolbar. I don’t use it myself, but there should probably be an option to generate a regular link without an image. Then add it to anchor text in your post, for example the title of the book you’re reviewing, like you would add any other link.
