Adding Amazon Links to my blog

Hi,
I’m a complete newbie to the whole WordPress/ Blogging thing.
I have been trying to add Amazon links to my posts, but they always ‘publish’ with the code rather than the label.
I can get other links to work fine. Is there something in the settings perhaps that I need to look at? Or is there some ‘trick’ for doing this that I need to be aware of?Thanks
