Adding an Administrator

  I am unable to add my friend as an administrator to my blog. I keep sending her invites and it only takes her to the blog instead of allowing her to sign in as an administrator.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hey there,

  Before your friend can login as an administrator of your blog, they need to create an account at WordPress.com and log in there.

  Once they have signed up, they can click on the “accept invitation” button in the invite email. They will also be able to access the site dashboard by going to the “My Sites” tab in WordPress.com (your site will be listed here after they accept the invitation).

  Thank you for answering Brie! Unfortunately she already is signed up. She’s been using wordpress for years. It’s mind boggling to both of us.

  Hi again,

  Can you double-check and make sure the email address you sent the invite to is the same as the email address she uses on her WordPress.com account? This could be potentially causing the issue if they don’t match.

  Let me know if that works. If not, please send me her WordPress.com username and email address and I will try to adding her as an admin on my side.
