Adding an advertisement

    I’d like to put an advertisement for a friend’s orchestra (she’s the executive director) on my site. If she provides a piece of jpeg artwork can I place it on the side of my main page? Can it link to her orchestra’s site? How do I do this?

    That would be fine, as long as you aren’t receiving monetary compensation for it. If you were, then it really would be advertising, which would be against our terms of service at this time.
