Adding an affiliate code to a blog site
-
I am using an affiliate website to create outfits on my blog and when I add the code to embed in the html oration of my blog edit, it publishes as a link instead of a picture I created.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hello @chicopolitan,
So I just checked your blog, and I’ll use that as my example. I see you added images, then a list of links down below that.
Edit a blog post and choose an image already in your post. Hover your mouse over that image, and click the pencil icon to Edit. Paste your affiliate link for that same item into the “URL” blank (this defaults to linking to the image itself, so delete that, and replace it with your affiliate link).
I’m not sure what HTML code their site generates for you, but you need the part that just looks like a web address, like this:
http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/stella-mccartney-faux-nappa-fanny-pack/4555436?origin=keywordsearch-personalizedsort&fashioncolor=IVORYNow you have that image, linked to the affiliate purchase link for that item.

Hello again,
I just realized I was incorrect in describing how to create an image link – my answer would apply to a WordPress.org site, but not WordPress.com hosted.
This page describes how to add a link to an image, so you would want to do that with your affiliate links, on each matching product photo.
