Adding an AIM WIMZI WIDGET FOR CAHT to my WordPress.com blog

  Hi,
  WIMZI is supposed to be for blog, social spaces etc.

  I 1st tried doing the code with pointing to the URL. But it doesn’t see http://myblog.wordpress.com as valid. SO I switched to the flash version. -It created code to copy and suggested I copy it into my profile in some blank space. I tried it in the about me section with no other words or comments. It didn’t show up on my blog.

  Any ideas suggestions. etc. I am not very techie in terms of code so be gentle on the how to for me.

  We would have to see the code, but flash is not allowed at wordpress.com due to security concerns. Neither is javascript.

  If you can post the first code here here between backticks (on the key with the ~) we can take a look at it. Basically all that is allowed here is standard html.

  SO this is the code for html. Thanks for the heads up on Flash. However, I notice in this that the script is javascript so I guess that means from your post that the WIMZI Caht Widget won’t work here?

  That’s right, that particular code won’t work here. If they have an HTML only version, that might. We’d need to see the code or you’d need to try it out first in a text widget.

  Thanks for the feedback. It seems that they only have Javascript or Shockwave Flash.

  No biggie. I just saw this on another forum’s help section and saw from AIM that it was for blogs.
