Adding an Alexa code to my blog
-
Hi there,
I’m having trouble adding an Alexa code to my blog – I can’t find the ‘body’ code and whenever I add it, it messes up the site.
Also, I’m trying to add my blog onto blogpost.net, but again it will not recognise my blog.
I have been given the following advice, but I’m not sure how to go about it.
1- your blog is not design in wordpress
2- Your wordpress version is outdated
3- you are using wrong username and password
4- username does not have Editor profile
5- It is issue of jetpack, kindly ready the following page http://wordpress.org/support/topic/jetpack-server-could-not-communicate-with-your-sites-xml-rpc-url
6- Contact with your hosting provider that your “XML-RPC function” not working, they need to modify .htaccess file.
I have also attached .htaccess file, you can upload it on your blog hosting and then retry.
Thanks in advance,
Laura

Hi Laura,
You’ve reached support for the free sites hosted at WordPress.com. Your site is self-hosted using the free WordPress software available here:
Because your site is self-hosted with a different provider, support staff at WordPress.com do not have access to your site’s files or the ability to provide support for your current issue.
You can find support for your self-hosted WordPress site here:
I did a quick search through the WordPress.org forums and found this, but I’m not quite sure how helpful it will be:

I’m sorry I couldn’t be of more help!
