Adding an author

Hi I have added 3 more authors to my blog but they cant seem to add content do they need to have there own wordpress site/blog
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Have your 3 new authors accepted the invitation they got from your blog?
Without accepting the invitation they can’t be confirmed as Authors. -
hi yes one has and says he wrote a post but that it didn’t appear!
I saw somewhere that you had to have a wordpress account do you know if this is true?

Yes, you need a WordPress account. You can log in with an existing account or if you don’t have one, a new one is created while accepting the invitation.
Do you see your new authors when you go to your People page? As Authors, they should be listed under the Team. Also, are they listed under Invites as Accepted?

OK thanks yes they are in authors and accepted invitees so the problem must be with them I think

If your authors keep having the problem with their posts you can return to this forum topic and add modlook tag (in the sidebar). That way staff will be notified and they can assist you further.
