adding an email address to my custom domain

  I would like to add an email address to my custom domain. I read a blog post – “http://en.blog.wordpress.com/2013/09/02/email-forwarding/” that suggested it was possible but I do not have the “Manage Emails link” mentioned in the article

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi David,

  The forwarding option isn’t available on your site, because you already have Google Apps email set up here:
  https://davidsadlersmith.wordpress.com/wp-admin/paid-upgrades.php?page=domains&action=dnsedit&domain=davidsadlersmith.com

  You’d need to delete the those records and save. Then, you’ll see the forwarding option. However, please note that this will disable your email on your Google Apps account (since the MX records linking it to your domain will no longer be there). You can set up forwarding after that, but you’ll basically be starting from scratch.
