Adding an event calendar

  I was wondering if there is a way to make an entire page a calendar of events instead of just a side widget? I am a workshop instructor and wanted to post past and upcoming workshops. Is there a way to do this instead of individually listing each event? Thank you!

  Also, I notice there are a lot of plugins for wordpress.org but they can’t be used on the wordpress.com site, is there a link that explains why that is the case? I understand that you have to upgrade the wordpress.com plan to be able to utilize plug-ins, but how is wordpress.org plugins different? or is it the sam thing? Thanks in advance

  With the business plan, you can now add third party plugins to your WordPress.com site. Some plugins might not be ready for WordPress.com yet as this is something the author needs to implement.
