adding an image

  I admit I am new to this but feel I am following the directions on how to add an image to my blog. However, all I get is the title of the image inserted. Can anyone tell me what I’m doing wrong?

  I followed specific directions form this link: http://en.support.wordpress.com/images/

  My pdf file is on my computer, not url. Does that help or should I copy and paste?

  PDF’s are not images files and will not show up in a blog post. All that will show up is a link.

  For images to show up in a post or page, they have to be either a JPG, a GIF, or a PNG file.

  You can also make a Scribd file and use that.

  Thanks! I thought I saw somewhere in the instructions that a pdf file could be upladed as an image. But it’s a simple fix to save a pdf file as a jpeg file. Thanks so much for the responses!
