Adding an image above a post

  I want to add a permanent image above the date and post title in the middle section of my blog. However, I do not want it to appear in all my posts, just above the first one.

  I do not want it between the heaved and the post section, but actually in the post section of the blog (but above the date, title, etc.). Thanks for your help!
