Hello, I want to put a logo as the “site title” in my twenty twelve themed website. Is it possible to do this in the free version? It’s not obvious to me so I’m guessing not but I’d appreciate confirmation if anyone out there knows.

    Thanks in advance.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Yes you can put a logo there provided you purchase an annually renewable custom design upgrade and do the required CSS editing. See here for details on purchasing the annually renewable custom and CSS editing:

After you purchase the upgrade please post into the CSS Forum > https://en.forums.wordpress.com/forum/css-customization#postform

    Thanks for your speedy response.

So if I buy the custom design upgrade now and later decided to also upgrade to a premium theme, would I be able to carry the custom design upgrade with me?

That’s answered at the link I posted above:

If I switch themes, will my fonts and CSS carry over to the new theme?
Fonts will carry over, but CSS will not. CSS is theme-specific and CSS written for one theme is unlikely to make sense for another. You can always access CSS you saved in the past via the CSS Revisions link at the top right of the Appearance → Customize → CSS panel. http://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-design/#frequently-asked-questions
