Adding an image to the site headline

  I am trying to move the site headline and tagline to the right a bit and place an image in the space to the left of them. I have experimented a little with the theme coding but cannot figure out the best way to do this. The image is uploaded to my media library here… http://midsouthscaffold.files.wordpress.com/2012/08/logo.png
