Adding An Image When Editing A Comment
-
There is an IMG button available to me when I’m editing a comment that someone has posted on my blog.
Clicking on the IMG button does indeed add the necessary html to the comment, but when I save my changes, the <img src=……..> code gets stripped from the comment.
I’ve seen other forum posts which have concluded that you can’t add an image to a WordPress comment. If this is true, then why is an IMG button available to me while I’m editing comments ? It’s sort of like WordPress saying “sure, you can do that”, but then changing their mind at the last second.
Is WordPress trying to tease me ?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Images are not allowed in comments and that is why it is stripped out. I wish they would take the img button out of the comment editor since it leads people to believe they can add images to comments.
