Adding an image/photo to the title of a post

  I am using the free Pique theme and I want to add a photo to one of the post titles. I was able to do it on another post title but can’t seem to remember how I made that happen! Need help. thanks

  Actually I tried using featured image but it produced multiple photos of the same image as opposed to just one photo of my image. I had a friend help me who was able to do what I wanted but not sure how to do it myself for the next time. My site is: http://www.alchemysts.org
  The post titles “Season 2017” and the “The Artists” are the look that I want with the photos. Would like to be able to do that with the other post titles.

  The post titles “Season 2017” and the “The Artists” are the look that I want with the photos.

  The images seem to be simply inserted into the content of those posts, centered, just below the titles. The appearance of each of the titles is standard for the Pique theme. The principle difference that may make the ones you prefer stand out is that the titles are shorter, with fewer letters. There is also a camera, representing the image format, in the box around the title “Season 2017.”

  One surprising thing about your site is that the panels are created from posts, not pages. In the standard Pique theme, the choice for each panel is limited to static pages. The Pique theme guide’s “Adding Panels” section begins:

  To get the rest of your front page set up, you’ll want to add some more panels. Each «panel» is created from a standard page on your site.

  The fact that the site’s panels are made from posts suggests that the front page was customized, using CSS code I presume, although I don’t know how it was done.

  I was confused there due to unfamiliarity with the Pique theme. Your site actually doesn’t have the panels referred to there. The front page displays the latest posts. The alternating gray and black backgrounds are due to a custom palette choice at Customize > Colors & Backgrounds.
