Adding an m4a song file to a post

    I recorded a song in Mac’s Garageband app and now wish to save it to a post. Is it possible? Dragging the song file from desktop to body of post results in a message saying that the posting cannot accept this kind of file. Any ideas?

    Hi there!

    You can upload audio/songs by upgrading your site to the WordPress.com Personal plan or higher. Free sites do not allow audio uploads.

    The WordPress.com Personal plan also allows you to set a custom domain as primary. It removes ads, too, so your site doesn’t show any advertisements.

    There are other WordPress.com Plans that you can explore if you need more features (such as the ability to upload videos, which you can do with the Premium plan or higher).
