Adding an RSS feed

  All right, bear with me, I’m very new.

  I want to add an RSS feed to my blog. I want to add that little box that allows people to enter their email address in order to subscribe, as well as the general ‘add this RSS feed’ to whatever system they’re using.

  Now, I just went through Feedburner’s set of instructions, but since WordPress just changed format, I don’t think I’m doing this correctly. I have a set of HTML for the RSS feed, but when I paste it into the RSS widget on WordPress, it gives me an error message when I view the site. When I go back and look at the code in the RSS widget, it just says http://Subscribeinareader. I’m not sure if that’s what it’s supposed to do or not, but I thought it was strange.

  The message under the RSS link on the actual blog says: An error has occurred; the feed is probably down. Try again later.

  Any ideas on this one? And do I have to add ANOTHER RSS widget to add a box to subscribe by email?

  I suppose you have a Feedburner account? What’s your feed’s address at Feedburner?
