Adding an SEO pluggin to wordpress.com
-
I want to use a SEO pluggin for my wordpress.com account and from reading it seems that I have to switch it to a .org account or add a domain. First let me know if this is the correct way and second if this cost money?
Thanks

You don’t need an SEO plugin. WordPress.com has excellent SEO built in.
BTW adding a domain to a WordPRess.com account doesn’t allow you to run plugins eitther, .org is the only way.

Well then I guess the question is where do I utilize these excellent SEO services, because I can’t find them. Are they like Yoast?
-
No, they are built in things like URLs reflecting topic titles, sends notifications to search engines on every publish, etc.
The article “All about SEO on WordPress.com” is very informative.

They are, as Tandava explained, built in. They are an automatic function of blogging here, they are part of the architecture of our blogs.

Yeah I understand that, just wanted to utilize a plugin to optimize my SEO efforts. For example, meta description, are the enough keywords in my content etc.

Learn how to write keywords. Organic content that is naturally rich in keywords is the best SEO technique and no plugin can do that http://raincoastermedia.com/2011/06/08/keywording-like-a-boss/
