Adding an SSL certificate to a WordPress Bundled site
-
I have the WordPress Bundle, and I would like to add e-commerce to my site. I know it’s common practice to have an SSL certificate to go along with the other plugins, such as woo commerce. Typically, I would buy it from the host directly, but in this case, because it is being hosted by WordPress, how would I purchase and install it?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Free hosted WordPress.com blogs cannot be equipped for ecommerce. http://en.support.wordpress.com/plugins
There is no FTP access to our free hosted WordPress.com blogs and we blogger cannot install any plugins into them. The only upgrade you can purchase that allows FTP access and the ability to install themes or plugins is the Enterprise upgrade. http://en.support.wordpress.com/plugins/#plugins-withwordpress-com-enterprise
… all of our paid upgrades, including premium themes and Custom Design, and the best of all the built-in WordPress.com VIP features such as 70+ approved plugins which include integrations with top partners such as Flipboard, Chartbeat, and Facebook, and custom JavaScript for $500 a month per site. http://en.blog.wordpress.com/2012/12/13/introducing-wordpress-com-enterprise/
Note there is no mention of ecommerce capability.

Thanks for the response, timethief.
So even though the domain + hosting was purchased through here (http://store.wordpress.com/premium-upgrades/pro-bundle/) there isn’t a way to make it e-commerce ready or to add e-commerce plugins?
The only other option is Enterprise?
Thanks.
Thanks for the information.

re: Enterprise
I do not see any mention of ecommerce capability, so I have tagged this thread for a direct response from Staff. -
While you can sell your work on your blog, no blogger initiated advertising, retailing, or reselling of work created or services provided by other people is allowed on WordPress.com.
This link will give you instructions for using a Paypal button on your blog:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/paypal/If you require e-commerce/shopping cart functionality beyond this, you might be interested in a self-hosted (WordPress.org) installation. There are no restrictions on e-commerce if you set up a self-hosted WordPress.org blog instead of a WordPress.com blog, but there are some added responsibilities.
Please see this link to learn about the differences:
