Adding and deleting catagories

  I am revamping my blog, its scope and content for the New Year and need to make changes in catagories. I successfully deleted a couple today that will no longer be relevant. However, one new catagory I am trying to add shows up in my dashboard as there but not when I go “live” to the site. I tried refreshing it and waiting a few hours if there was some reason for a delay.
  Help if you can.

  If you don’t have anything in that category, it will not show up on your blog.
