Adding and editing

Hi There
I’ve tried to add a new post to my blog this evening but the new/edit page/post has gone wrong. I was halfway through a post when I tried to add a photo but it wouldn’t upload it as it said it was over the maximum file size (the file was only 3.2Mb). I closed the dialogue box and saved the post as a draft so I could go back in and try again. However when I now try to create a new post or edit an existing one I can’t see any of the text unless I highlight it and it appears to be only the HTML code. I’ve lost the usual edit options and several of the links on the page the don’t work. It’s the same for both for any new/edit pages I try. Basically I can’t create or edit anything on my blog. I’m not aware of making any changes to the settings on the page and my site itself still looks fine from the outside
Hope someone can help me correct this problem

Let’s try some troubleshooting.- You could have a browser issue so try changing your browser settings, refreshing the page, or clearing the browser cache and cookies – instructions for specific browsers.
- Note that when you make adjustments to your browser settings — changing privacy settings, deleting cookies or increasing security — you will need to close your window and restart the browser before those new settings become effective.
- You could try upgrading your browser.
- You could try using another browser.
- You can use this link to see if your flash is up to date.
- If it’s not up to date then this is where to download and install the latest version of flash.
Sometimes operating system and/or security system updates and firewall s can cause problems so check for known issues. When you make adjustments to your browser settings — changing privacy settings, deleting cookies or increasing security — you will need to close your window and restart the browser before those new settings become effective.
Staff need to know what operating system you are using, which browser and version of it you are using, if you tried another browser or not and what the results were, whether or not your Flash is up to date, and how you are connecting to the internet and to WordPress.com. That’s why I posted instructions above.

Logged on again today and everything is fine. No idea why it wasn’t working on Sunday or why its righted itself now. I can also upload photos no problem
I’ll put it down to gremlins!
