Adding and seeing new pages
-
I’m trying to separate my artwork into new pages so it doesn’t add up with the different mediums. However, I try to get a new page but I can’t see it and i can’t go back to my original template. Do I need to launch my site before I can add new pages?

Hey there,
I see you’ve got various pages there, which are currently set to draft, which is why they’re not visible and haven’t been added to the menu.
I would thinking adding these pages to the menu would be the next move here, but before we get to that – are you looking to upload your work via posts on an ongoing basis?
The reason why I ask is because you may wish to categorise theses posts, and link to these. https://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/categories/

The pages are meant for a online portfolio for my artwork, with different pages to separate them. I figured out how to view my pages since I found the link to the dashboard.

Hi there
I noticed when I visited your site that most of your pages are still in “draft” status and have not been published yet. If I can ask, you are doing this so the public does not see your site yet? The reason I ask is because it’s difficult to set up a new site using draft pages. Instead we recommend setting your entire site to private.
This way no one can visit your site, even though you are “publishing your pages. Only you as admin would be able to see the site.
Once everything is set up and looking as you wish, you can then make the site public again.

Hope that helps. Please let us know if you have any more questions.
