Adding and updating posts

Hello! For the past while I have been trying to update an existing post or adding new posts but every time I did that, there would be a red banner popping up saying ‘Updating failed. You are probably offline’. But it’s been doing this for a while now and every few days I go back to try to update it and it keeps giving me the same red banner, but my internet is perfectly fine when I try to make other actions.

Hi elliechen00, that definitely sounds odd.
Can you try this?
– Go to the code view of your post and copy everything. Paste it in a text file so you’ll have a backup.
– Clear cache for the browser:
https://wordpress.com/support/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cacheYou can consider clearing the cookies for the site, too, though how you delete individual cookies will depend on the browser you’re using, and clearing all cookies can be a bit of a pain.
But let’s see if that clears it up. If it does not, would you be willing to test another browser so we can narrow down the cause? Typically this error really does mean you are offline, so it’d seem something between your system and your connection to your site is signaling that.
