Adding another user

  Am I just missing something obvious…

  How do I add more authors / users to my blog? [screencast]

  I read this FAQ. I went into my dashboard to the user tab and then to authors & users.

  If the person you want to add already has a blog here at wordpress.com, go to your “Authors & Users” page and put their name in to the “Add User from Community” box.

  But I only see the option to add an email.

  It’s not a problem. I’ll just get the person’s email address. But I’ve been known to miss the obvious.

  yeah, you need the email that they used to sign up for wordpress.com

  Clicking on the blogger’s username will usually lead you to their wordpress.com blog and then you may be able to find their email address on their Contact or About page. However, this doesn’t work if the blogger has linked their name to a commercial blog or website instead of linking their username to their wordpress.com blog. Also if the blogger leaves a comment on your blog then you will have their email address and be able to contact them and/or add them to your blog in the role you have in mind.

  And thanks for the avatar comments. It was done by a good friend of mine who lives in Germany. My old one (the Eeyore one) was done by a friend of mine here in the US.

  Me… I’m not creative enough.
