Adding Applications To Your Website

  Does anyone know of a way to add applications like the ones used on Facebook to your own website? Is this possible? We have a blog site for Teddy bears, and want to add the option for a message post on each blog page for each member. It would be quite expensive for us to have it written into the code of the site, so I was looking into adding an external application that might do it. Any ideas?
