Adding arrows to featured posts gallery

  Is there a way to make my featured posts gallery at the top of my home page look like the Yahoo! featured posts gallery? I like the main image, but I’d like to make the other four images small icons (like Yahoo or BleacherReport) below the top image.

  If not, is there a way to add arrows to my featured posts gallery at the top of my home page similar to this: http://www.staralliance.com/staralliance-final-theme/images/arrows-2x.png

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there, that would require pretty extensive changes to the theme php and javascript files, and we cannot do that here at WordPress.com since this is a multi-user environment where we all share the same WordPress core and theme files.

  There are a number of themes that have slider navigation arrows. If you click here, you can see a filtered listing of all the themes with sliders and from the thumbnails see the ones that have the arrows.
