Adding Audacity onto WordPress

  My friend and I have recorded some audio on the program “Audacity”. Just this morning, she tried to upload this audio onto WordPress, but found that it always said “error” when trying to play. Can anyone help my friend and me?

  Have you read the FAQ about adding music? Always check it out first; you’ll save lots of time.

  How do I get music on my blog?

  What filetypes can I upload?

  Does your friend have the space upgrade? Or if not, has she found a site that will host the files?

  audacity files surely won’t work, you have to convert them to some standard format.
