Adding Audio player from Mp3 files in posts

Hello,
I’ve been trying all day to insert an audio player in my post on my blog. I’ve read all previous threads related to Mp3’s, and the FAQ for audio. But I just can’t figure it out.
I’ve uploaded the Mp3 into my media library, and I’ve been able to insert it into my post, but it’s not an audio player. When you click on it it just becomes a download option.

You can see what kind of mess it’s in right now in the first post. Does anyone know how to fix it?

Did you go through the “insert audio” button (musical notes) button in the editor?
If that did not work, then switch to the HTML tab in the editor, get the URL of the audio file you uploaded into the audio shortcode as follows:
[audio URL of uploaded audio file] -

I finally got the audio player to show up, but it just says ‘file not found’. I’m not sure what I did wrong here. -
That means that the URL is incorrect. What is the URL of the audio file? Paste it here in the forum.

Paste the following into the HTML tab (it worked just fine in my test blog):
[audio http://kiyansobhani.wordpress.com/files/2009/04/13-york-on-the-beach-dj-cosmo-pedro-del-mar-remix6.mp3] -
One other suggestion is to shorten the file names considerably. Although it should not make a difference (within reason) it will cut down on one possible problem.

I saw this thread and was wondering if there would be a reason the file does not play as I hvae some that just say “buffering” but do not actuallly play? Can someone do a test for me at my page to see if it works for them? Thanks!

On “The Good Ole Boys From The South” and on “The Carpenters Redux?” it says the file is not found. Where are those files hosted? Are they here on wordpress or somewhere else like fileden or somewhere?
On “Above the Smog, Bill Callahan Soars Like An Eagle” the audio file plays just fine.
