Adding author bio to (website.com/author/authorname) page

Hi! I’ve tried searching on the forums and have attempted to use Nimble Builder and other plugins to no avail. At the moment, we have blog posts published under several different users (a mix of authors, editors, and administrators), and want to add a biography to the page for each user.
The theme we are using is GeneratePress (also tried to fiddle around with PageHero and ‘Elements’ and what not but couldn’t understand if I was even doing anything right) and I think this layout just came with the theme.
When I click ‘Edit User’ there is an ‘About Yourself’ where I can fill in the ‘Biographical Info.’ It’s captioned ‘Share a little biographical information to fill out your profile. This may be shown publicly.’ Any text I enter in only changes the meta description rather than anything on the page.

https://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/That said, it sounds like you may need to edit the theme files to get the user bio showing on the ‘author’ archive pages – I believe the creators of your theme are likely to be your best point of contact for how to achieve that!
