Adding author byline to Vigilance

  Someone else set up my blog and I think they removed the author byline. I’m now trying to get the blog connected to google + and it helps to have this displayed.
  Anyone know how I can put it back?

  Someone else set up my blog and I think they removed the author byline.

  In reference to those themes that do display author bylines (some do not) there must be at least two authors who have both published a post in the blog for the author bylines to display.

  You cannot access metadata and insert any code such as the Google + author code into the header area of any free hosted WordPress.com blog. Is that what you are trying to do?

  You can have a Google + sharing button enabled to appear below your posts. http://en.support.wordpress.com/sharing/
