Adding Author Bylines to Posts?

  Hi folks, sorry to be a bother, but I’m not sure what search term will do the trick to answer my question.

  I just added a second writer to my blog, however, I’m having trouble ensuring that our posts can be distinguished properly. I already added an author widget to the sidebar in my blog which lists which posts come from which author, but I was hoping to have a byline put in automatically so we wouldn’t have to manually add a hyperlink to our entries.

  Is there a function that allows me to do this on wordpress? If so, how do I enable it?

  Whether or not author’s names are displayed is not a universal function; it’s theme specific. See > http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/category/authors/

  My theme (Neutra) doesn’t include the byline. I’ve just been adding “posted by” manually at the bottom of the post.

  On a related subject the authors widget is a good way to list the authors of your blog with a link to a page listing all of the their posts. See > http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/authors-widget/
