Adding Avatars to My Posts
-
I am currently using the “prologue” theme because it seems to be the only one that allows me to differentiate between authors of the blog through the use of a unique avatar for each author. Is there a way of including this feature in other themes, possibly through purchasing access to the CSS?
Any way of doing this would be much appreciated — it seems to me this should be a standard feature for any layout, as livejournal has been doing it for years? Thanks in advance for your help!

You can upload the image you are using as an avatar and then insert it into each post when you create them. That would really be the only way.

Hm. Well, that seems a bit silly for a program as well-adopted as WordPress, but if that’s the only way I’ll look into it. I really appreciate the advice, all!

To give you the choice of putting an avatar on your post would require editing and hacking the CSS and PHP files for each and every theme, and then running each and every theme through full rounds of testing with each browser, and browser version before it was then uploaded for us to use.
It would be a very big job.

you can add your avatar on any theme by going to write>post then at the bottom of your write screen there will be a option to upload pitures from your computer. Once uploaded
you send the Picture (Avatar) to your page. heres example you’ll see a thumbnail of my avatar next to my post. New COD4 DLC Map Pack Videos « Gaming News HQ
