Adding Avenir Next font to our Maxwell-themed site

    Hi

    I’m fairly new to wordpress and definitely not well-versed in CSS.

    My business uses the Avenir Next font which does not feature on the font plugin. I need the whole site to be in this font. At the moment I’ve had to use Lato which is the nearest looking.

    Please can someone tell me the easiest way to do this.

    Hi Rachel, the only custom fonts we can use at WordPress.com are the ones listed at Customize > Fonts. We cannot add other fonts from outside sources since the code needed to do that is a security issue.

    If you have to use that font, then what you would have to do is to self-host your own installation of the WordPress.org software on another web host – possibly the one where you have your business site hosted.

    As an alternate, would you consider switching your business site to the Lato font?
