  How can I add an image banner linking to other site at my blog? They provided html code of it to add it to my website.

  You can’t add a custom image bavver and have it redirect to another site. No blogger initiated advertising, retailing or reselling the work or products created or services provided by anyone other than yourself is allowed on free hosted wordpress.COM blogs. E-commerce transactions via shopping carts and the like cannot be conducted on free blogs from and being free hosted by wordpress.COM

  The advertising exceptions noted in support documentation are for high traffic blogs that qualify for and are accepted into the WordAds program, and for extremely high traffic blogs that qualify and are accepted into the paid VIP hosting program. The WordAds Program is for well established blogs with 20,000 – 25,000 page views monthly that are accepted into the program.

  Thank you for answering, all is clear about banner. You are pretty fast, I admit.

  So tonight is my day of questions and answers :)

  Generally I’m a professional interpreter. As you may know football event Euro 2012 will be held in Ukraine and Poland. I live in Kiev, Ukraine and I want to create a blog regarding interpreting during Euro 2012 with aim to attract foreign football fans as my customers. I will use domain mapping for this case.

  Am I allowed to create such a blog and promote it with Google AdWords in Google without breaking any of your policy? No alien banner will be present an my blog.

  You’ll have to ask staff about that. I don’t think they have an issue with Google Adwords, but they’re the ones with the say. Contact them via your dashboard Help button.

  You can promote your own blog through Google Adwords, just don’t have any advertising on your blog.
