Adding blocks using the new editor

    Is it possible to add a comment form using the new editor? It was possible using the old editor by going to add media, but that option has gone.

    Hi there,

    Do you mean a contact form? Comments appear below a post, not inside it, and are not enabled using the add media button, but using the discussion settings section in the editor.

    The contact form is something different, and allows people a way to contact you privately, unlike comments which are displayed publicly on the post.

    In future contact forms will have their own block that you can add to the editor, but that’s still being worked on and not available yet. For now you’ll need to edit the post/page in the classic editor instead to add a contact form.
