Adding Blog Posts Summaries to Web Page (RSS?)
-
Hi everyone,
I have looked everywhere and I am probably missing something elementary, but I just want to be able to put the summary (like a short couple of sentences then the “more” link) content of my posts from my blog onto a website then people can click on the “more” link and it goes to the blog.
Is this RSS? Can someone tell me what code I place on the web page that will pull in the RSS feed summaries or whatever.
I have read the RSS section, but I just don’t get it. Is there a news feed reader or aggregator that will format it and pull it in that I can place on a web page?
Thanks for any help.

All I know about the more tag and the RSS feed is that the feed doesn’t pick up what comes after the more tag.

I have looked all over the internet and I can’t find what code I would put in a web page that would pull in the short summaries into a web page.
Can anyone tell me the URL or the code that is placed on a web page for regular web surfers to be able to see the feed?
Thanks.

Our blogs already comes with RSS feeds. Go to:
Dashboard > Presentation > Sidebar Widgets
And at the bottom you will see this:
Select the number you want and then save everything. It should appear on the main page in a minute.
Mine appear as text links on my site under:
Meta
* Site Admin
* Logout
* Entries RSS
* Comments RSS
* WordPress.com -
You can also get an account at Bloglines to see what your feed looks like. Others do this also to save what they post.
