Adding blog to navigation block

  • Unknown's avatar

I’ve gone into appearance>customize>edit template, and it shows four navigation options, but when I open the webpage there are only three with no ‘posts’ option.

    WP.com: Yes
    Jetpack: Yes
    Correct account: Yes

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • Hi there,

Are you referring to the menu that is shown here on your blog page? https://gastrorejuvenator.com/posts/

That is showing because of the menu you have set up on your Page template, which is the template that most pages (other than your homepage) use by default.

However, in the case of the homepage specifically, it does not seem to use the same template. You can see that here: https://gastrorejuvenator.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=396&action=edit

Essentially, Elementor has taken control of this page (your homepage) specifically, so it does not use the header or templates you have created in the WordPress Site Editor.

You have a few options here:

    • Edit the page in Elementor, and add your menu using the tools they provide in their interface
    • Click on the template in the sidebar on the right. A dropdown will appear and you can set the home page to use the same template that you are using for your blog page (and other pages) which will ensure that all pages on your site have the same Header and menu.

Hope that helps. Please let us know if you have any more questions.
