Adding blogroll to MistyLook Theme

I have seen other MistyLook blogs that have a Blogroll widget, but the only option I have available is Links and when I open that it says there is no option for sorting or displaying links. How can I add a blogroll (which was created under a previous theme) using the MistyLook theme?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Go to the Inactive Widgets box here > Appearance > Themes > Inactive Widgets and drag and drop the missing widget following your theme change into the sidebar, click to open, click save and then click close.

I have already created the blogroll. I need to know how to include it in the sidebar for MistyLook.

Don’t look in “inactive” widgets, look in the “available widgets and you are looking for the LINKS widget.

Thanks for the catch. When I read this I assumed too much in that I assumed there was a Links widget in use when the other theme was being used.How can I add a blogroll (which was created under a previous theme) using the MistyLook theme?

So, I have my blogroll created when I was using the Mystique theme, but with MistyLook there is no “Blogroll” widget and the “Links” widget says there is no option with the widget for sorting or displaying the links.

Okay, when I saved the Links widget, it automatically included my blogroll. so I’m all set. Thanks.

Forget what it says in the widget. Put the widget into the sidebar, and as long as you have created and saved links at the links section in the dashboard, they will show up.
The links widget has no options for sorting. If you want your links to be in groups, then create links categories and assign them to the links and the links widget will organize the links under the category titles in the links widget automatically.
Forget what it says IN the widget.

I should note that Mistylook is different from some of the other themes in that it does not have any options in the links widget. Mistylook is a very old theme and doesn’t have the options in the links widget that newer themes do. It was originally written on a cave wall. That is how old it is, and most of it has been left just as it was originally except for updates that HAD to be made so it would be compatible with later versions of wordpress.
It is a great theme, but it doesn’t have all the modern theme bells and whistles.
