Adding blogs to feeder that are not from wordpress.com

  When I add blogs to my feeder that are not from wordpress.com it is not showing their title/blog name. Those picture is blank and their title states “No Title”. Is there anyway for the blog I’m following or for me on my subscription end to fix this?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  The site you are asking about does not seem to be hosted on WordPress.COM so you need to make friends over at WordPress.ORG the keepers of the software you are using.

  No it is hosted through wordpress and I’m just starting – http://jenosbookblog.wordpress.com/

  I’m not sure why it stated my starcrossedblog – that’s one I share with my friends. The one above is just by myself.

  What “feeder” are you talking about? Do you mean the Reader?

  Yes. I tried manually adding blogs that aren’t hosted by wordpress and they just ended up without a title. I couldn’t tell one apart from the other.

  Sounds like a bug with the reader.

  Hi Jen!

  I see what you mean! I found that all posts from this site: http://starcrossedbookblog.com had “no title”. So I checked your feed and found that the site indeed has no title as you can see here:

  http://feedvalidator.org/check.cgi?url=http%3A%2F%2Fstarcrossedbookblog.com

  As @auxclass mentioned that site is not hosted through us, so I have no access to your files. It seems like you are using the self-hosted, WordPress install, so try going to Appearance > Customize in that Dashboard. See if they have some kind of Site Title & Tagline field.
