Adding buttons to sidebar

  Can you tell me what widget I need to use to add the javascript for a button to be seen on my sidebar?

  Javascript can’t be added at WordPress.com because it’s insecure code. But you don’t need javascript for a simple button, just use a text widget and put in an image of whatever button you want and then add the simple HTML link to wherever you want.
