adding captions moves photo in draft-post

    When I add a caption to a photo AFTER inserting it (as I am drafting a post), WP now for some strange reason MOVES the photo to the top of the post… I wouldn’t mind this quite as much as I do, but when I cut and paste photo to put it back where it was, the cut only takes the photo and not the caption. Pretty maddening.

    I have added captions to already-inserted images for years without this happening.

    Hi Dee,

    Yes there has been an update with the editor as seen here:

    Introducing Smoother Editing and New Playlists

    This means that with the new upgrade you will have to drag the image to the desired location before you add the caption.
