adding categories to sidebar

  How can I add more categories to the sidebar?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Go to posts > categories and then add the new categories you are wanting to use. They will however not show up in the sidebar widget until you have actually assigned them to at least one post, and published that post.
